I had been studying Korean on my own for about 6 months with Pimsleur and a study guide. I felt like I was hitting a wall so I looked for a teacher. I am so happy that I found Henry. He is very patient with how slowly I read ;) He breaks things down in an easily digestible way too. I feel like my ability to remember things is getting a little better and being able to have someone to check my pronunciation is really helpful too. I'm hoping to be fluent in the next few years so I can speak to my sister-in-law and my nieces and nephews when I visit Korea.
It’s been almost a year since I started taking lessons with Henry and it has truly been an amazing time! It’s clear that he genuinely loves teaching, which makes every lesson super interesting and enjoyable. On top of that, he doesn’t just teach the language, he also shares so much about Korean culture, which makes the learning process even more meaningful.
Korean is really tricky for me, but Henry breaks things down in a way that makes it all feel a lot more approachable and fun. I’m always excited for our lessons!

Later in the summer it will be a year since I have started taking lessons with Henry and my only regret is I wish I had started even sooner! Henry is an amazing teacher that is able to adjust to your individual learning style and make you feel comfortable. He’s incredibly patient and makes all of our lessons really fun. I can feel my ability to speak, read, write, and understand Korean improving so much as well as my confidence. Thank you for everything Henry and Kozy! ☺️🫶🏼
I’ve been taking lessons with Henry for approximately 4.5 months. I have learned to read Korean and pronounce what I have learned much faster and more accurately than I did 2 months ago, taking twice weekly lessons is a game changer. Henry’s English is perfect making him the perfect teacher for me, Henry is kind and patient and never makes me feel self conscious about learning and pronouncing new words. Henry also has a great sense of humor that makes learning fun!

Henry is intelligent, understanding, I like that he is patient and he is funny as well. I will continue taking lessons with him as a my tutor in Kozy . Thank you seonsaengnim 😊.
